Sublime Entertainment is David Diaan’s production company. Often referred to as the Persian Larry David, he has built an impressive career as a popular Actor, Writer, Producer, and Radio Personality.

David came to the United States as a teenager to study Radio, Television, and  Journalism at the University of Missouri Columbia. His first endeavor in the entertainment world began with the establishment of LIQUID PRODUCTIONS, co-founded with other talents such as stand-up comedian Maz Jobrani. Since then, David has continued to write, produce and star in an array of successful productions. In the year 2000, despite the strict laws and censorship in Iran, David returned to his homeland to direct and produce the heartfelt documentary “Iran is My Home”. In 2004, He was awarded the prize for “Best Screenplay” at the Slamdance screenplay competition for the biopic entitled “The Apology“. In 2007 David founded Sublime Entertainment and produced his first feature film “Convict“. In 2008, David’s dramatic performance in “The Stoning of Soraya M.“, earned him much praise and excellent reviews. 2015 was the year of popular feature film “Baba Joon” which was submitted to the Academy of Motion Pictures in the best foreign film category. In recent years, David has appeared as a guest-star in popular TV shows including Weeds, Homeland, The Brink, NCIS, The Black List, and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

David is a prolific artist, entrepreneur, and humanitarian.
